Member Spotlight: Craig Randall

Meet Craig Randall! He has been a member of ZX Fitness since January of 2011 and has been a regular at the club ever since. When he joined, Craig had a goal of losing his “beer belly”, adding muscle, and becoming more toned over all, giving him the athletic body that he’s always wanted.
In order to accomplish his goals, Craig started by lifting weights and modifying his diet. He dreads cardio machines, so he decided to give Kickboxing a shot; however, the day he went, class was cancelled due to our quarterly Group Power launch. Intrigued by the class description, Craig decided to join in, and after only one class, he was hooked. He now attends Group Power, Kickboxing, and Group Ride three days a week. He also lifts weights on his own to add more muscle.
Taking classes allows Craig to maintain variety in his workout routine, so he never gets bored and he continues to see results.
Since joining, Craig has lost a total of five pounds of body fat and gained 15 pounds in muscle. He went from 165 pounds to 175 pounds and has only 7% body fat. “I owe my success to diet, supplements, hard work, and ZX Fitness group class.”
Craig advises those trying to lose weight or improve their physique to take it one step at a time. By jumping into too much from the start, individuals become overwhelmed and give up. Instead, he recommends setting small goals along the way. Once you begin accomplishing those, you won’t want to stop, and you will continue to improve.
