Michelle Mattison - Week twelve

We're gonna miss you!!! Thanks for this experience. It's been awesome. Can't wait for my spa treatment!!! Woo hoo!

Well, here we are. I still can’t believe how fast the past 12 weeks have gone by. Participation in the Loze Your Excuse Competition has been an awesome experience for me from start to finish. Working alongside my trainer, Melvin Gay, has definitely been the motivation I needed to get on the right path with my fitness and continue even beyond the program. The best part is now I know what works for me and what I have to do to reach AND MAINTAIN my fitness goals. Getting to this place has definitely been a process. Like most, the major challenge for me has been maintaining a healthy diet. Now, even that is easier. I am far from perfect, but I am much more conscious about the food choices that I make as I do not want to sabotage my efforts and results. Even more, I feel absolutely great! I have more energy and a greater outlook, so why would I want to fall back into my poor habits?

I am so grateful to the ZX Fitness family for allowing me this opportunity. I hope that my journey has been an inspiration to someone. For me, this is just the beginning. I am encouraged to continue towards my goal of losing another 60 lbs. I finally GET IT! There is no magic pill…no secret sauce. However, doing the little things consistently yield really great rewards over time. I look forward to keeping you all updated on my progress. Off to ZX Fitness now. Maybe I’ll see you there!
